New Club Building
The Enid A.M. Ambucs are in the process of building a new Ambuc club in Wellington, KS.  If you are interested or know someone who would be interested we would love to share our Ambuc experience with them.  As you can see from the pictures below, we are a very active seeking funds to help disabled children become mobile, sometimes for the first time in their life.  Please e-amail John Herzig at jrh@suddenlink.net.

Wellcome to the site of Enid’s finest civic club.  The Enid A.M. Ambucs were chartered on
September 5, 1975 by the Enid Noon Ambucs.  Our club has been the #1 club in the nation
several times.  Numerous members of our club have not only been President, but have gone on to
be District Governor, Regional Director, National Big Hat President, and National President.
One of our most decorated Ambucs, Ray Schoonover has held all of those offices.  Currently,
Kent Clingenpeel is the Great Plains Region Director.  We take a lot of pride in knowing that all
of the Ambuc clubs in the country knows who the Enid A.M. Ambucs are.

Our club was awarded several awards for the year 2006-2007 during the recent National
Convention held in San Diego.  We were awarded 100% Living Endowment,  we awarded
Superior Club under the leadership of Brad Davenport, gave away 5 or more Amtrykes, set
up an Amtryke Demo Site.  Our club was 33rd  in the nation.  Our club also received 2nd
place in the nation for Public Relations and one of our members, John Herzig, won 3rd in the
nation for Project Manager of the year.
